  1. The 17″ laptop by it’s self is big, but when you put it in the backpack there is still space to the sides and top of the computer. too much.

The style really looks like a TMNT shell. Its good for tricker-treating.

It’s secure thats for sure and if you don’t care about style than this is the one for you.

  2. I bought this bag to use for my laptop in Brazil on buses, etc. and it is perfect. There is only one exposed zipper to a thief, and the jokes on them; it is just for a water bottle holder that is retractable!

It is a very large backpack, but the size is mostly length. The bag is the perfect for me, but I am 6′3″. It would probably not work nearly as well for my wife who is 5′6″. I love that it does not stick out very far from my back. I owned a Swiss Gear pack, and it was too deep for me to use for riding a bus, because it made me 3 feet wide! This pack only ads 8 inches to the depth of my body at the most.

It is comfortable when fully loaded, and so far seems to be very good quality as well. Oh, and trust me, it is secure. You can’t open it unless you take if off of your back; can’t beat that.

  3. I bought this bag for a trip I am taking this summer to Europe. I will have to be traveling with my laptop frequently, and so this was a logical choice.

I used it for about a week at school, just to get used to the backwards zipper and all. It worked pretty well and I got used to using it pretty quickly, but I really did not like the interior divider. I think that it was severely limiting the interior space and so with just a thin textbook and a couple of notebooks things were getting pretty crowded. I think I am going to do what another reviewer said and cut out that panel and I’ll just use a pencil case or something that can be more mobile around the interior.

Otherwise, I definitely recommend. Here’s to hoping it continues to impress me this summer. :-)

  4. I was happy to find a bag that holds a 17″ laptop that didn’t look like it was meant for backpacking across the country.

The security feature definitely provides some peace of mind when walking around busy public spaces, but it also hinders the bag’s accessibility. The one opening works fine for laptop access, but the accessory bags are velcroed to the inside. You either have to fully remove them or reach in and manipulate the zippers and slip the selected contents in/out.

I wouldn’t suggest it for students who need to get stuff in and out of the bag several times a day, but it’s a great commuter bag for getting a full size laptop to and from work.

So far, the build quality looks great. It’s not just big enough to hold a 17″ laptop, but was designed to distribute the weight. The straps and handle are part of one cut of fabric that runs the length of the bag, not just sewn on bits.

The mesh cell-phone pouches on the shoulder straps are useless for your average smartphone and so far that’s really my only “complaint.”

  5. I bought this backpack based on a good review I read on it. I bought a new 17 inch Dell laptop and needed something practical to carry it around in. This is it. It’s great and comfortable. I was concerned about it fitting my 17.3 inch laptop but it fits with plenty of extra room for other stuff and it’s comfortable too.
